Accuracy in confined spaces: STAHLWILLE extends its fine-tooth ratchets family

Wuppertal, 08.10.2018

Tool and torque specialist STAHLWILLE is presenting its current product portfolio at the start of MOTEK, the international trade fair for automation in production and assembly. The range includes the fine-tooth ratchet family that is so popular with end-users and which sets standards in terms of accuracy, ergonomics and safety, particularly in the confined installation spaces that are becoming increasingly common in assembly jobs.

Accurate, resilient precision mechanics, a tight working angle, slim dimensions: STAHLWILLE fine tooth ratchets with 80 teeth offer all these benefits. They generate a ratchet angle of only 4.5° and this enables particularly fine work. The mechanical systems are outstandingly well balanced, work extremely accurately and are very smooth to operate, even when applying high torques. In contrast to conventional fine-tooth ratchets, no less than eight teeth engage at once here, which ensures very good load-bearing capacity.

STAHLWILLE is continuously expanding its range of fine-tooth ratchets. It currently comprises models with two-component grips and a complete product family with steel handles, which offers additional freedom of movement thanks to the particularly slim design. Both designs are available with 1/4", 3/8" or 1/2" drives. In addition, there are solutions for attaching bits and Hi-Lok fasteners. On top of this, STAHLWILLE has recently introduced a new generation of fine-tooth flexible-joint ratchets, which were also available from the start with 1/4", 3/8" or 1/2" drives. These swivel through a total of 90° with intermediate locking positions (straight, 30° up, 60° up, 30° down) – which makes them ideal for round-the-corner fastener tightening.

All fine tooth ratchets from STAHLWILLE have their renowned QuickRelease safety system for protection against unintentional tool loss. This is the only locking system on the market that secures all the extensions and shell tools reliably through to the bolting point, without forfeiting valuable space.
